Joel lives in David City, Panama. He graduated from high school in 2022 with excellent results, but studying during the pandemic lockdown was challenging without access to any computer or digital technology.
He has been passionate about food security stability and people’s access to fresh produce. This passion drove him to pursue a post secondary education that would support his values and surrounding community.
Joel is the first in his family to attend university. He and his family expressed their deep gratitude for KGC Consulting’s gift of a re-purposed laptop computer. The intervention gift donation will contribute greatly in advancing his education. Joel looks forward to beginning his academic 3-year program this year in Agricultural Engineering at Facultad de Agronomia in David City.
