Mohammad’s responsibilities have included cost, risk, time, and commercial management from procurement through closeout. He has been directly involved in the implementation of key project initiatives such as lean cost management, automation of financial reporting, and contingency management. He has also led complex projects throughout their life cycles and provided compelling evidence-based strategies to resolve complicated issues. Mohammad’s advanced knowledge includes project control implementation for large infrastructure and oil & gas projects. In addition, he has worked with various contract types, including alliance; design-build-finance-maintain (DBFM); design-bid-build (DBB); engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC); P3; fixed fee incentive; reimbursable cost plus; and bespoke contracts.

Familiar with different CCDC, CCA, AIA and bespoke forms of contract. Skilled in negotiating and developing scopes of work, compensation criteria and developing schedule reporting requirements. Experience in P3 projects working with Ontario Power Generation (OPG). Experience also includes claims and litigation support to resolve disputes associated with Alberta Transportation and Infrastructure.

As a Claims Consultant and Damages Expert, Mohammad specializes in assessing, quantifying, and preparing claims related to cost overruns, lost productivity, and financial damages. He conducts forensic analysis to determine causation, evaluates change orders, and prepares expert reports for dispute resolution. His expertise in quantum analysis and commercial damages ensures accurate financial assessments for negotiations, mediation, arbitration, and litigation. Mohammad is skilled in challenging opposing expert reports and providing independent, fact-based evidence to support claims and contract disputes.
